In this uniquely designed class, you will learn how to create convincing realistic portrait drawings, as well as capture a likeness and elusive expression.
This class is ideal for drawers and painters alike, as it provides an opportunity to study all aspects of the portrait, including anatomy, facial features, planes of the face, head & neck, hair, wrinkles, etc.

The instructor works with you at your own pace, offering technical and creative guidance, as you work from the live model, well-lit photographs, master copies and busts.

Each class is supplemented with a detailed lecture, demonstrations, suggested homework, as well as individual and group feedback.

Also included is a 3-hour demonstration once per month, in which a portrait drawing is created from start to finish, with the instructor explaining the process step-by-step.
