Registration Policy ▹
All seats for class offerings (classes, workshops, demos, open critiques, Anatomy lecture series, and special events) are to be pre-booked online here. These seats are on a first come, first serve basis. In the event of a full class, you are encouraged to choose another day and time for that week, or to join the wait-list.
Wait List ▹
If classes are full, you will be put on a waitlist and contacted if there is an available seat.
Payment of Fees ▹
Online: You can pay online with a credit card or a debit card (that has an expiry date and CVC).
You can then pre-book classes in our easy-to-use booking system.

Cheque: You can pay with cheque, by mailing it to: Canvas Method, 1710 Victoria drive, Vancouver, BC, V5N 4J8.
Please mail the cheque with a note including your full name and email address clearly printed.

Cash: If bringing cash, please bring the exact amount in an envelope, with your full name and email address clearly printed. Upon receipt of payment with cheque or cash, we will email you with your login information so you will be able to book your classes.
Payment by Cheque ▹
Students will be charged $30 for cheques returned for non-sufficient funds.

Official Receipt ▹
Upon payment, you will receive an online receipt. This includes cash payments.

Cancellation Policy ▹
Weekly Classes and Special Events: We require a minimum 10 days notice to cancel before the class date. If you cancel less than 10 days before the class date, refunds or credits are not available.

Workshops: If you cancel more than 45 days before the start of a workshop, we will retain $100 CAD of the total course fee. If you cancel 45 days or less before the start, you will forfeit your entire course fee. There are no refunds for no-shows or withdrawal after a workshop begins.

All workshop cancellations must be communicated by email.

cancellation due to temporary closures: Any course closures due to bad weather, ‘acts of God’, or any other means deemed ‘temporary’, your seat will be reserved for you to continue once the course resumes. If you are unable to attend the newly scheduled course, you will have credit to access alternative course options of your choice. Either way, we will assist you in transitioning back into your seat. Please note, there are no refunds for temporary closures.

cancellation due to permaNent closures: If a course is cancelled permanently by a Canvas Method instructor, you will receive a full refund.

transitioning back into you course after covid-19: During the Covid pandemic, Canvas Method is temporarily closed. The course schedule and all business transactions have been ‘paused’, and will resume once permitted to do so. After the Covid crisis, classes will resume within the same scheduled format at the time of cancellation, so all course closures are considered ‘temporary’, not ‘permanent’.

Once Canvas Method is open, classes and all business transactions will resume as per normal. As we approach this time, we will send you information on how to transition back into your course, or if there are scheduling challenges, you will have class credit to access any other course of your choice.

temporary closure by government: Since Canvas Method has been forced to temporarily close, and will resume all operations once permitted to do so, this cancellation is considered ‘temporary’.
Cancellation of Class by Instructor ▹
If class is cancelled by the instructor, students will receive credit towards another class. If a workshop is cancelled by the instructor, students will receive a full refund.

Class Times ▹
Class times can be found here. Typical class times are morning (10AM–1PM), afternoon (2:30–5PM) and evening (6:30–9:30PM).

Schedule Changes ▹
Canvas Method reserves the right to change its schedule, modify a course or substitute instructors at any time. We will let you know of any changes.

Class Conduct ▹
We reserve the right to remove or ban students from classes who are not behaving appropriately or are seen as harmful to the school or its students.

Publicity Waiver ▹
Canvas Method considers photographs of the students and their artwork as property of the school and permissible for publication in school publications, including the web.
