Francis Tiffany is an English painter trained in the traditional methods of British art education, through which he gained a thorough grounding in anatomy, life-drawing, studio operation and artistic craft.

Such knowledge and skills, alongside a deep intimacy with the centuries-old English tradition of portrait and landscape painting, have strongly influenced his outlook, perception and approach to artistic practice. Francis exhibits widely, and his work can be found in both private and national public collections. He has featured on CBC radio, and has judged numerous art competitions.

Francis’ encouraging nature, along with his training and studio practice, constantly informs his mentorship and instruction — always seeking to guide and inspire students in their own creative development.
